We 3D scanned the transient state of a Robert E. Lee monument in Richmond, Virginia in the summer of 2020.  The confederate statue which had been a source of tension for years in Richmond, was transformed with painted messages in the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd and became a reclaimed monument to local activists before being dismantled by the city.
