River Ruin

We digitally preserved Bannerman Castle, situated on a small island in the middle of the Hudson River.  In the quintessential New York mentality, where everything is possible with enough money, its owner created his Xanadu at the turn of the 20th century before it was later irrevocably damaged in a fire in the 1960s. Despite being in ruin, large metal supports resembling modern rampart arches hold up an entire facade, which projects from the overgrown Pollepel Island.
